Does music help you write?

I know it does for me. Finding a couple of songs that fit the vibe just right and it helps your creativity explode in your mind. Do any songs come to mind? I always want to find more good writing music 

Ahh yes, absolutely!!
My main story is piratey, so the score for Assassin's Creed: Black Flag really sparks my inspiration.
I love all the AC music and usually when I'm writing that's what I listen to, or anything by Hans Zimmer lol

Oh yeah I definitely agree, songs with words can be hard to write to. I mean, sometimes its not too distracting. I just try paying attention to the background music. I try finding things like dubstep, there's some really good ones.

I have plenty of scenes based on songs

I made it a duet between a boy checkin out a haunted house and the ghost that was stuck there hehe

I listened to Hans Zimmer this morning to ya know check him out n stuff and I HAD NO IDEA HE'S THE ONE WHO DID THE MUSIC FOR PLANET EARTH. Love that show, love the music. If ya told me he composed the music for that show I would have listened to him instantly

Honestly, I just need a writing playlist. Not set aside for certain characters or anything, but just writing music in general.
