un débutant

warning: i suck at introductions. my name's samantha i'm 18 and fresh from high school, going into a gap year or two before college. i've been trying to write a novel since i was 6 -- aka i've been unsuccessful for 12 years. i decided to join because i'm trying to write more and be more devoted to my writing than i have been. i seem to be better at writing poems than novels but i rarely write poems (but i do want to write more poems, too). i don't have many friends (let alone friends that love to write like i do), so i hope to make some more here
here's some more about me:

• i'm a parisian-phile (i want to write stories in french someday) and anglophile (i write in uk english)
• i want to be a filmmaker
• i like photography
• i have a personal tumblr
• and a horseblr
• i'm socially awkward/inept off/online (it really sucks)
• and i'm kinda boring in real life rn
• i don't know what else to add... hmu i guess

i think i'm gonna try to write a poem once a week, and work on a new novel idea i've got cooking up :)
