[attr="class,"bioentry"]sorin is very stoic: the arts of complaining or pushing his issues onto someone else is a foreign concept to himself. his feelings are reserved for himself alone, and he’s never heard to be complaining or groaning about any kind of hardship. despite his royal advantages, it’s a rare occasion that he asks for help upon any situation. however, this does not make him selfless: while the moroi prince does not completely shove other’s feelings aside, he can just as much be found taking passages to aide himself, and does indeed care for his own needs—some say that he is the perfect in between of selfish and selfless. he is quiet and lives almost entirely inside of his own head: sorin’s favorite companion is absolute silence. he enjoys his own company, though not because he’s egotistical, or thinks himself better than others, but he’s just too easily frustrated and sometimes needs time to relax. he withdraws from activities to decompress and restore himself—hence his likelyness to retreat back into his chambers—takes luxurious naps, finds other places within the forest to lie in and just contemplate the world on his own for a while, or . . . allows the side of himself that he truly fears to overtake him. sorin may not make the effort to show it, but he has a lot of repressed emotion stored up behind that passive face of his. he is passionate and feels very strongly about a lot of things, and truly has a lot of time to think them over during the time he spends all on his lonesome. despite what is hidden, he is indeed emotional and can be triggered into anger quite quickly; he can usually get a handle on it and transfer that energy into killer glares or tense gestures, but sometimes it's just overwhelming, and he can't help act upon the negative mechanisms mentioned above.   [attr="class","bioheader"]appearance. [attr="class,"bioentry"]nico is a wirily muscled, decently tall (6'1) man with dark chocolate hair always swept in complicated swirls and blue-green eyes as dramatic and piercing as the ocean itself. he is solid and long-legged, with a sharp-jawed face, remarkably high cheekbones, and thick lips (that are perfect for kissing either sex). with a trim waist and rather elegant figure, he is muscular . . . but not to the point that one could call him brawny. above all else, nicolae's quite the striking man, and is certainly an amazing sight in his transylvanian village. nicolae also smells heavily of mossy greenery, earth, and, faintly, sweat. [attr="class,"bioentry"]• he never knew his father; all nico's ever known is his mother's gentle touch. razvan disappeared soon after nicolae was born, and so nico's grown up caring for his mom and becoming the man of their household. they are extremely poor and live in a shack on the outskirts of the village, but they have a small farm, a garden, and nicolae's thieving skills to keep themselves alive. his mother cooks, and nicolae provides stolen/manipulated goods; they work well together and are very close, thus why he hasn't left her yet, even though he's come of age. nico is a bit of a charming sneak, and will do anything to keep callis safe and fed, even if it means slipping a fruit or slab of meat into his coat pocket every once in a while. • what nicolae doesn't know, is that he's a dhampir. his mother fell in love with a moroi vampire, and amidst a passionate romance, nico was born, son of a mere mortal and a powerful spirit-user. things ended badly between callis and razvan, so when he mysteriously vanished without a trace, she deemed it unnecessary to reveal to nico his powers (slightly stronger than the average human, resistant/immune to compulsion and the abilities of a spirit-user). the man has been raised under the belief that his father was killed by a strigoi vamp, (thus why he despises both species so much), but the truth will come out eventually . . . and sooner than anyone thinks.
