TYPES OF GROUP ROLEPLAYS

This is an index of group roleplay types, which are merely suggestions for improving activity and functionality put together by the Paper Parade staff. Feel free to make suggestions! play-by-play This is a basic turn-based type. An order is discussed, and all players post consistently in the same order. storyline This is a type where two or more distinct storylines exist, and two or more characters assigned to each. Users respond only to those in their own storyline, but storylines may also intersect, merge, die, or be created at any time. narrative This type includes a designated narrator. Much like a tabletop RPG, the narrator will provide scenarios that characters respond to, whether all at once or individually with the option for other characters to interact or not. fill in the blank Any of the above may also apply, but in this one the creator has pre-established roles that may be filled by the characters of others.
