just a sad oinker

hello! I am distressedpiglet! feel free to call me piglet, lex, or alex! 

um... i'm not really sure what to say other than i'm new here and thank you for the invite kjaleo. hopefully once i get into the swing of things it will be easier for me to just jump straight in. for now i guess i'll tell a little about myself? (why am i so awkward today? >.<) 

some of my hobbies are: 
writing (but i'm a bit rusty since it's been a while)
reading (feel free to message me about some good books to read)
drawing (self taught so i'm not a pro but eh)

daily activities: 
i am a full time college student (my only days off are thurs and sat, please kill me) so there might be days i disappear off the face of the earth. i will try to be active at least once a day, but sometimes things pop up that i have to do. 

interests: 
well i live a tv show called the 100, a netflix show called end of the f***ing world as well as stranger things, how to train your dragon (yes i am an adult who loves disney shows and movies don't judge), harry potter (i'm a nice mix between ravenclaw and slytherin), the hunger games (district 8, textiles), divergent (abnegation- the selfless), and the maze runner (books, not the movies because ew)

some fun facts:
i graduated from my local high school at the age of 17 (i had only turned 17 less than 3 months before graduation)
i live on a farm and ride horses (used to, now i don't have time :/ )
i plan on majoring in molecular biology and genetics (with high hopes of getting a phd to own my own labs)



i used to roleplay constantly, but for the past two years or so i stopped getting into active roleplays on cs simply because nothing would actually start up. i'm hoping that these team things (i still have some research to do about this site) mean i don't have to pour my heart and soul out at first. i need to get back into the flow of my creative writing.
