Aris Dorchester| I'm still turning out
Aris was getting used to Kyler. He seemed nice, he seemed cool. He seemed like he wasn't in a rush to ship Aris to the government or wherever Kyler worked. Kyler was right about the lighting being terrible, all the bulbs in the house were burned out and Aris didn't bother to open closed blinds. It also wasn't a very nice place to take pictures. Years of dust sat building up on the floor and everywhere. But it was home.
"I can show you around," he said, "There's not much to show. But…" He trailed off. He started walking and gestured for Kyler to follow. He walked into the dining room, a very long, very large table sat in the centre of the rom collecting dust. Chairs draped in white cloth surrounded the table. beige wallpaper was peeling from the walls. There was a fire place on one wall, it stuck out at an odd angle. There was a door that led into a bar/serving area. But the bar itself had collapsed years ago. "The dining room. I used to sit there." He pointed to one of the chairs with the sheet draped over it. One leg had fallen off and was leaning against an adjacent chair.
Aris turned around and walked back and pointed to a broom closet. "That's the broom closet. I used to play hide-and-seek with my sisters and i would always hide in there. I'd be in there for hours." He smiled. A family of coons now lived in the closet. It saddened Aris almost.
He started up the stairs. He was in his transparent form so he didn't put any extra weight on the creaky stairs. "Careful, one of the top stairs is missing." There were holes in the roof where daylight shone through and puddles or rain were already forming. Aris reached the landing and stopped. "we shouldn't continue on up here. I'm afraid the top floor might fall. But the bedrooms are up here. And a ladder to the attic. But not much else in this old house besides that. I think I've shown you everything." he said. The day was passing fast. He started back down the stairs again.
"Your welcome to stay here, I don't have any food or water though but I have blankets. And uh, do you know how long you'll be staying here?" he asked nervously. He didn't want to seem to pushy with the question. He liked Kyler, he was the only visitor Aris had in a long while. Aris knew that he was a ghost hunter, yet he didn't want Kyler to leave.
[sorry, writers block. hope this is enough c:]
