uh hey! woah this coding is super disorienting. but it's nice to meet you all!

i'm mopstick bc i thought that sounded kinda funky. you might know me as velouté on chickensmoothie, but i've changed my username so much since i started in 2011 & stopped rping in like 2016, it doesn't really matter haha (budgie, lapin, daytime ... you get the picture). if we were friends there you probably knew me by my nickname - az! on advanced scribes i'm bobolyne.

but you can call me mop. or az. or bobo. whatever makes you laugh the most bc i want to make you smile! i'd prefer if you used gender neutral pronouns, like they or xe. thanks!!!

uhm a couple things abt me as a writer i guess?

• i've written for a while but i'm still growing. i was one of those pretentious writers who was like. super into themself & lived off of like 3 SAT words that they didn't actually know the definition of??? but now i'm getting better yeah
• i write poetry now mostly with the exception of roleplaying bc i don't have a lot of time to like. plan stuff alone. i'm trying to get my poetry published so fingers crossed that i'm not too funky fresh for the stuffier places. but i rly like to write short stories! i love details and uh. live off of research. i'm one of those people who has footnotes in their rp forms and stuff bc i just! rly love a good history spree. pulling names out of old censuses and reading primary sources to get vocab right is like my JAM omg

anyway nice to meet y'all and i hope we be writing buddies! i'd rly like that! <3
