Bell Archeon | It wasn't the loud screaming of her alarm that woke her or the cat that nibbled at her painted toes, but the loud knocking from one of her twelve brothers on her door. "Get up!" He yelled as his banging became frantic. "Get up, or you will be late!" Bell shifted her in her bed, facing the open window and the screaming clock. Letting out a small sigh, she slammed her fist on the clock before kicking her feet out of the bed. The cat that played with her toes let out a low growl, before hopping off the bed and scampering over to the open window. "Emerson, stay in here," Bell groaned as she moved toward the window, shutting it so the fat, furry monster of a cat did not escape. With another low growl of disapproval, the cat scurried away. Bell moved towards her dark dresser, picking out a pair of ripped black jeans, and a Pink Floyd t-shirt. She quickly slipped into her clothes, before grabbing the skateboard that was propped up against the wall near the door. Bell left the room, with a slam of the door. She hated this. Summer was over, and so began another long year of hell. She trudged down the hall, sulking at the idea of having to go back to school. As she descending down the stairs, she was met with a bright blue-eyed man dressed in a camo uniform, and a plate of toast in his hand. A smile grew across his lips as he looked up at her. "Eat," he said as he shoved the plate into her hands. "Can't have you starving on your last first-day of school!" "No please, let me starve. Maybe I can die on my way from starvation, and then I won't be able to go to school!" Bell's brother shook his head as he shoved the plate at her again. "No can do, kiddo. Now eat up and get going!" "Whatever, Cerri," she grumbled as she picked up a slice of toast and shoved it into her mouth. Tearing at the bread, she moved past her brother and down to the foyer where she slipped on a pair of combat boots. Shoveling the rest of the toast down her throat, Bell waved at her brother before exiting the house. Her family was significantly richer than most of the families around her. They had to be if they were going to support a total of fourteen mouths. Her father owns a large firm in the city about thirty minutes from her house. "Winter Kings Northern Banking." He created this bank way before she was born, and had been working hard to get it as successful as it was. So hard, in fact, that he barely has time to come visit his children. Bell's father spent most of his time at the firm, running the business and making the money. He had actually made a room in the firm for him to spend nights in. Occasionally, he would come and visit to drop off a check for one of the boys to deposit, otherwise, he stayed there. Bell's father was never there to be a just that, a father. So Cerridwen, the eldest, took up the roll. Cerridwen spends most of his mornings at the house, making sure Bell stays out of trouble, even though he has his own household to run. This was mostly because he learned a few years back of her attraction to a member of the local gang. His goal is now to keep her away from such activities and keep a watchful eye on her. But he can't watch her all the time. As soon as Bell was far enough from the house, Bell pulled out a cigarette and hopped onto her skateboard. Lighting the paper, she took in a deep drag. It was a stupid addiction, something HE had left behind on her. But these days her craving for them had grown. She went from smoking one a day to almost smoking a whole pack. They were causing her to have a nasty cough, and chest pains, but she couldn't seem to stop. Pulling the cigarette from her mouth, she kicked off on her skateboard and began the trek toward the high school. It took only about ten minutes to make it the school, which was enough time for her to finish the cigarette and flick it out to the curve. "Bell! Bell!" yelled a familiar voice ahead of her. Glancing up, she watched as a goofy kid came running at her. His short blonde hair waving at her as his arms flailed out. Taking in a deep breath, Bell sighed, before advancing to on him on her board. "Hey, Tristan." "So is it true?" Tristan gasped as he clasped onto her arm. "Did you really do it?" "Do what, Tristan?" she frowned. "You know! Break up with him! Did you really do it?!" Biting her lower lip, Bell slowly nodded before glancing over to the entrance of the school. "Look, I got to go, I have Curtis again, and if I am late she will have my head on a pike." "You are one ballsey bitch! I need all the details a.s.a.p. You hear me?!" Rubbing her temple, Bell pushed past him before nodding. "Yeah, I will give you all the gory details at lunch." Bell slipped inside the building, tucking her board under her arm as she shuffled past the groups of people around her. She could feel their eyes on her as she moved past, and immediately she knew what they were discussing. Word travels around fast in the school. It had been only a month since she signed things off with HIM. And now it would seem everyone knows their relationship status. Bell did her best to ignore the chatter and concerned stares, she just wanted to get to class. Approaching the room, she threw the door open to meet the disapproving gaze of her teacher. "Miss Archeon, late like always." Her teacher groaned as she looked her over. Flashing a quick smile, Bell took a small bow before glancing around the room for an empty seat. Her eyes caught sight of a dark haired boy who was staring back at her, his hand laid gently on the seat next to him. Her face drained of color as the features became clear. It was HIM. Gulping, Bell glanced once more around the room, trying to ignore the gestures her Ex was trying to give. In the back of the room, right next to an odd looking kid, was an empty seat. Rushing towards it, she flopped into it, throwing her board to the ground and slumping into her chair. Turning, she glanced over at the kid next to her. "I hope this seat wasn't taken, because I will be sitting in it from now on," She exclaimed before examining him. From the way he sat in his chair, she could tell he was tall. His hair was long blonde, with a darker yellow at the tips. He had a unique set of eyes that she couldn't keep from staring out. But when she saw a flash of movement in front of her, she turned to see HIM. He was moving seats, trying to get closer to her. Sinking in her chair, she gave a glare at him. "Ronan, no," she whispered as hie dark eyes met hers. A small smirk played across his lips as he moved over one more chair. He was no uncomfortable close to her. Only three chairs in front of her. "Fuck me," she leaned back in her chair. Crossing her arms over her chest she closed her eyes and tried to sleep this class away.
